Necessary Conversations Webinar Series
Conversation About Gender Issues
In this session, Jeff Arrowood and Alice Heinzen will first give you a rational understanding of God’s plan for gender and why it is important for us to maintain His plan in today’s culture. Then, they will work with you to identify the right time and place, dynamic and approach to discuss God’s plan for the male and female genius with your children.

Pastoral Letter to Parents Regarding Gender Theory
Fr. Dan Kogut wrote this pastoral letter and it was published on the Renewal Ministries website. Fr. Kogut reaffirms many of the points we made in this session, but also adds personal stories and pastoral concerns to his letter. This is very much worth the read!

Sex Change Regret
This excellent website focuses on the negative consequences people experience after they surgically "transition" from one sex to the other. It includes information, research, and more resources. Most importantly, it includes personal stories of people who have "transitioned" and then regretted their decision. This isn't intended to provide "allegorical proof" that sex change operations are harmful. Rather, these stories show you why people choose to undergo the surgical procedure and the effects that the change had on them.

Sexuality and Gender
This report presents a careful summary and an up-to-date explanation of research — from the biological, psychological, and social sciences — related to sexual orientation and gender identity. It is offered in the hope that such an exposition can contribute to our capacity as physicians, scientists, and citizens to address health issues faced by LGBT populations within our society.
Lawrence S. Mayer and Paul R. McHugh reveal what scientific studies actually show.

(Advanced) Gender Theory by P. Allen
This is an academic paper by Sr. Mary Prudence Allen in Solidarity: The Journal of Catholic Social Thought and Secular Ethics. This paper seeks to answer to following questions from a Philosophical Methodology:
What is the conflict between Gender Reality and Gender Ideology? How did Sex and Gender Ideologies Begin? What are the Characteristics of Sex and Gender Ideologies? How did Gender Ideology ‘Go Viral?’ Who Mapped the Virus of Gender Ideology? How can Gender Reality be Ransomed? This is a well-researched and fully footnoted paper. Sister Mary Prudence Allen explains philosophical origins of gender ideology (modernism and relativism that we mentioned in the webinar) and how the philosophy has been translated into cultural ideology. Sister Allen also does a great job showing how and why ideology has ignored science and logic.

(Advanced) Gender Theory - Dale O'Leary
This is the written text of two of Dale O'Leary's talks on gender identity. These talks are well-researched with lots of footnotes. Mr. O'Leary covers the cultural story of gender identity, including the influence of John Money (that we mentioned in the webinar), and how perceptions of gender and gender identity disorder have changed. He then offers an incredibly detailed explanation of the cultural gender ideology and the fight for objective reality.
