Alice Heinzen
Alice B. Heinzen, M.S., is the Natural Family Planning Coordinator for the Diocese of La Crosse, WI. Her primary duty is to coordinate educational efforts that focus on the beautiful teachings of the Catholic Church on human sexuality. Under her direction beginning in 1993, thousands of families have experienced the wisdom of and logic that underpins the encyclical Familiaris Consortio (On the Family, 1981) and the Theology of the Body.
Alice is a co-author of the Project Genesis Series and author of the marriage preparation program called Married Love: Two Becoming One. She has provided training for the Family Accountability Communicating Teen Sexuality program for Northwest Family Services in Portland, OR and created The Parents Place website for the Diocese of La Crosse, WI. She has served on the State of Wisconsin Abstinence Initiative for Teens and served the Boy Scout Troop 47 as an advancement chair. She has been married for over 30 years and is the proud mother of three grown children and two granddaughters.
